Collaborating for Health: Progress Review of the MyWangu Project
Today, we had the privilege of meeting with the Ministry of Health through @NASHCoP and MDH Tanzania at Flomi Hotel in Morogoro, where we conducted a comprehensive review of the MyWangu Project. This collaborative session provided us with the opportunity to evaluate the progress we’ve made so far in delivering vital health information and services to adolescents and young people across Tanzania.

The meeting centered around assessing our achievements, understanding the challenges we’ve faced, and identifying areas where we can improve to ensure we continue to provide culturally relevant and impactful support. We believe that collaboration is key to making meaningful strides in healthcare access and education, and today’s discussions reaffirmed this belief.
The MyWangu Project is designed to leverage innovative solutions to reach Tanzania’s youth with accurate, accessible, and practical information on HIV testing, prevention, and treatment adherence. By harnessing the power of technology, we aim to bridge gaps in healthcare delivery, ensuring that young people have the resources they need to make informed decisions about their health.

We are deeply grateful for the unwavering commitment and shared vision of our partners, whose dedication to empowering youth through innovative health solutions continues to drive the success of the project. Together, we are not just improving access to healthcare information—we are laying the foundation for a healthier future for Tanzania’s young generation.
As we move forward, we remain focused on refining and expanding the MyWangu Project, ensuring that every step we take brings us closer to achieving our goal of providing comprehensive, youth-centered healthcare solutions. The work is far from over, but we are excited about the progress we’ve made and the positive impact we’re already seeing.

Together, we are transforming the landscape of healthcare access and information in Tanzania, one step at a time. Stay tuned for more updates on how we’re shaping the future of youth healthcare in Tanzania!
