Courtesy Visit | IGF 2025

We were deeply honoured to have our Executive Director, Elias Patrick, warmly received by Her Excellency Ambassador Tone Tinnes at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Dar es Salaam. This courtesy visit came ahead of his anticipated participation in the UN Internet Governance Forum (IGF 2025) set to take place in Oslo, Norway 🇳🇴.

The meeting provided a meaningful platform to highlight the work TechForward is doing across Tanzania—especially our commitment to youth-led digital innovation, AI for social good, and the development of inclusive tech solutions that empower underserved communities. It was an opportunity to share how Tanzanian youth are not just adapting to technology—but are actively shaping it to address local challenges and create impact.

We are sincerely grateful to H.E. Ambassador Tone Tinnes for her warm hospitality, encouragement, and engaging dialogue. Her belief in the transformative power of young people and technology was both validating and energizing.

As we prepare for IGF 2025, this exchange underscores the importance of building global partnerships that uplift local innovation and amplify youth voices on the international stage.
