Driving Digital Change: TechForward at the ICT Commission Tanzania Dialogue

Today, we had the incredible opportunity to participate in the ICT Commission Tanzania Dialogue, where our Executive Director, Elias Patrick, shared the transformative work we’re doing at TechForward. This was an exciting chance to showcase how we’re using technology to address some of Tanzania’s most pressing challenges and drive meaningful change across the nation.

From AI-powered chatbots like MyWangu, which delivers critical health information, to innovative digital learning platforms that are reshaping education, we are committed to harnessing the power of technology in a way that is both impactful and tailored to local needs. At TechForward, we believe that technology should be more than just cutting-edge—it must also be culturally relevant, accessible, and affordable for everyone.

Throughout the dialogue, it was clear that the digital landscape in Tanzania is rapidly evolving, and there’s an urgent need for solutions that not only embrace technology but also empower people. Whether it’s ensuring equitable access to education, providing life-saving health information, or fostering economic opportunities, we are steadfast in our mission to bridge the digital divide.

As we continue to expand our initiatives, we are excited to collaborate with partners and stakeholders who share our vision of a digitally empowered Tanzania. Together, we can create a future where technology drives sustainable growth, enhances social well-being, and unlocks new opportunities for everyone.

At TechForward, we are more than just a tech company—we are a movement. And today’s dialogue only reinforced our belief that technology is the key to unlocking a brighter future for our communities.

Let’s continue to drive digital transformation and work together toward a more inclusive, innovative, and empowered Tanzania!
